The Autonome Lehre

What is the autonomous teaching?

We have created an independent, autonomous teaching offer – teaching by students for students. In the courses, students should have the opportunity to deepen topics that are currently not sufficiently covered in teaching. Students on both sides of the events can actually experience free education. Those who offer events can discuss their topics with the participants on an equal footing, broaden their perspective and gain new perspectives. By not being forced or pressured to do anything or to follow certain guidelines, purely interest-driven education can be experienced.
The aim is to offer the opportunity to pass on content that has been acquired, for example, in the context of final theses, examinations, or out of interest, and to prepare it and advise others. Such an offer creates – so we hope – a further choice for your own education, even without a certificate, report or the like.
It enables teaching that takes place independently of disciplinary corsets and can also offer thematic diversity far away from the disciplinary mainstream.

Topic overview and archive of past semesters

The Autonome Lehre takes place in every semester. In the past, every semester had a different topic. Since the winter semester 2023/24 this is not the case anymore. We are organizing the Autonome Lehre now already for the eightteenth time!
