The Nazi past is barely visible on today’s campus of the University of Lüneburg, especially for younger generations. The current teaching location has a 55-year military history. This podcast, which emerged from the seminar “Historische Erinnerung und Gegenerinnerung (Lüneburg 1935 bis heute): Fascism and Modernity, a cooperation with the AStA’s Campus History Working Group “, aims to remember the perpetrators and commemorate those persecuted by National Socialism through its content. The content of this podcast is the Libeskind Building on the campus of Leuphana University, the history of Lüneburg’s Scharnhorst Barracks and some of the surrounding streets.
