“1070 people have died so far in 2019 while fleeing across the Mediterranean (as of 2. 8. 2019) – the number of unreported cases cannot be guessed at. Meanwhile, Europe is sealing itself off and arguing about responsibilities.”
Seebrücke Lüneburg wants to take a stand against this and declare Lüneburg a safe haven for refugees. In February of this year, the city council already discussed and voted on the issue – and decided against it.

Due to the many actions of the Seebrücke, the city council will vote again in just under two weeks. Like many associations and institutions in Lüneburg, we support the Seebrücke’s demands and want the city of Lüneburg to become a safe haven. That is why we are calling on you to demonstrate in Lüneburg this Saturday.
When: 19.10, from 12 noon

Where? Start in Clamart Park

Come, show solidarity and show the city of Lüneburg that we do not agree with their refugee policy. Lüneburg MUST be declared a safe haven to stop the unnecessary suffering and death in the Mediterranean
