The stage group actually wanted to bring Friedrich Dürrenmatt’s “Besuch der alten Damen” to the stage for you this year in June. We had big plans and were looking forward to welcoming you all to the Theater im e.novum for the first time on a real theater stage.

However, the COVID-19 pandemic is currently changing all of our lives and is of course hitting us just as hard as the theater department. It is therefore with a heavy heart that we have to announce today that there will be no performances by the stage group this summer. Like all public groups, we are bound by the regulations to contain the pandemic and the health and safety of our members is of course our top priority, which is why it is neither possible nor responsible to continue with the production.

We would like to take this opportunity to thank all our members who have already put many hours of work into the play, learned texts and developed concepts for stage design and costumes. We would also like to thank the Theater im e.novum, especially the theater director Margit Weihe for her great support. We very much hope to be able to repeat this promising collaboration next year.

Finally, all that remains to say is: stay healthy! We’ll get through this together. As soon as we can plan again and know how things will continue, we will of course inform you about our new plans and hope to see you all again soon!
