Welcome to the new semester!
Last updated 5. March 2025 | Sprecherinnen
It’s finally starting again – tomorrow we start the winter semester 21/22! After three digital semesters, the courses will take place on campus again – we have summarized all the important information about attendance and corona regulations for you here:
- 3G mode: Access to university buildings is only permitted to people who have been vaccinated, recovered or tested. In lecture halls 1-4 and the Audimax, this is controlled by an external service provider. In seminar rooms and lecture hall 5, the control is carried out by the teaching staff.
- However, as long as the district of Lüneburg is not in a corona warning level (incidence below 50), there is no obligation to check the evidence. But: You have the right to demand this check! Even if the check takes some time before the event, this is the only way to guarantee safety for everyone. Especially for people from the risk group or with relatives/co-residents from the risk group, it is extremely important to ensure the 3G status of all participants.
- So please exercise your right and ask your teachers to check the 3G rule. If everyone arrives a little earlier and has their vaccination, test or recovery certificate ready digitally, the check can be carried out without complications and all participants can enter the room with a good feeling. All you have to do is send a short email to your teacher. There is an email template on the AStA website in which you only need to add the information about the event.
- Further measures: Masks must also be worn in the workplace if the distance of 1.5 meters cannot be maintained. In addition, everyone should remember to ventilate the rooms regularly!
- Tests: The tests are free of charge for students until October 22. After that, a test is expected to cost around €13. The test station on campus will remain open.
- Vaccination date: On November 2, there will be another opportunity to get vaccinated. From 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. in the central building.
- Workstations on campus: You can use the reading room in the library as well as free seminar rooms (occupancy can be viewed via MyStudy) to work and spend time between your courses. Workstations are also available in the Central Building and in Building 14.
- Further information: All detailed information about the university can be found here.
